Dr. Caruana is President and Medical Director of Synergy Bariatrics. He has performed over 2600 gastric bypass procedures. He has extensive expertise in function of the liver and gastro-intestinal tract. Dr. Caruana is an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Maria leads the R&D department of Bariatric Fusion Inc. Her primary focus as a dietician has been fighting malabsorption with nutritional supplementation in patients after weight loss surgery.

Jennifer is a dietician directly involved with consulting and providing nutritional support to gastric bypass patients pre and post-operatively.
