They taste just as good as traditional peanut butter cookies but without all the added sugars and unhealthy fat. There’s just a small amount of powdered sugar as a sweetener in the frosting, and the cookies themselves are nearly sugar-free.
These low-carb cookies are a quick and simple bariatric dessert recipe that your whole family will love. As an added bonus, the high-protein frosting is made with protein powder and plain Greek yogurt to support daily protein intake for your bariatric diet.*

Ingredients
½ banana, mashed
1 egg
¼ cup PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter
½ cup smooth peanut butter
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt

1 scoop Bariatric Fusion Vanilla High Protein Meal Replacement
1 tbsp powdered sugar
½ tsp butter extract
1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, mix the mashed banana with the egg and both peanut butter ingredients until smooth.
Scoop out 8 balls of the mixture and place them onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
In a small bowl, prepare the frosting by mixing the Greek yogurt, protein powder, powdered sugar, butter extract, and unsweetened almond milk.
Let the cookies cool completely, then spread the frosting over the top of each one. Enjoy!
