Product Description
Bariatric Fusion Hair, Skin & Nails Rejuvenator is an easy, affordable, and convenient way for bariatric surgery patients to support healthy hair, skin, and nails. With just 1 capsule daily, this formula provides essential vitamins and minerals for healthy hair, skin, and nails. These nutrients may be deficient after bariatric surgery due to nutrient malabsorption and lower nutrient intake with smaller meals.*
Temporary hair loss, also known as telogen effluvium, is a common side effect of bariatric surgery. It usually starts 3-6 months after surgery. This type of hair loss is caused by the body's response to a major physical stressor, such as surgery, rapid weight loss, hormonal fluctuations, or nutritional changes. In such circumstances, your healthcare provider may recommend incorporating specific nutrients for hair, skin, and nail health.*
Bariatric Fusion Hair, Skin, and Nails Rejuvenator provides key nutrients to maintain hair, skin, and nail components, such as collagen. It also provides MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), silica from horsetail extract, and PABA to support the metabolism of important components of hair, skin, and nails, including collagen, hyaluronic acid, and keratin.*
For a similar product that contains collagen, try our Multi Collagen Protein Powder Supplement.
Bariatric Fusion’s bariatric multivitamins and supportive supplements are formulated by a team of bariatric practitioners to support nutrient absorption for those who have undergone ASMBS-endorsed procedures, including duodenal switch, SIPS, SADI-S, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass surgery, lap band, and intra-gastric balloon.

Look for highest mcg level for biotin and collagen
Look for 20,000 mcg of biotin, and 40,000 mcg of collagen. Until I went with this highest level of mcg for each sublingual ( an Amazon 3rd party seller), nothing was stopping my thick hair from falling out after 3rd month. I am 3-1/2 years out now after surgery. I still find that if I stop taking biotin and collagen, my hair returns to falling out. I recently asked my board certified dermatologist if there is a prescription version of Minoxidil so I can quit spending about $21/ month on this and let insurance cover this. The answer is - “yes.” There is. You can probably take it. (Mine needs to be compounded as I am allergic to one ingredient in it. Working on this…) Bottom line - don’t expect miracles. Average hair loss is around 100 hairs a day. Count what is on your brush daily and especially after washing hair. Hair grows back slowly, about a 1/2” per month. The older you are, the more likely your hair will thin.. My hair I can see thinness from my 2021 surgery, and again from last summer first skin removal. I have 2-3 more skin removal surgeries to go. I lost 240 pounds and it took 3-1/2 years. I went on Zepbound to lose the last 130 pounds. I have invested in wigs for work. I actually like wearing wigs. But I do miss hair cutting places saying I have SO much hair- like for two people. I have a wide part now, and thin spots on one side. But my hair has grown back, for the most part. Since my hair is longer ( mid back) it will take awhile. I am late 60’s. I have to face I will spend at least $70/ mo for multivitamin+ biotin/ collagen sublingual, + CoQ10 with Vitamin E, and a few other supplements. As a US federal healthcare advocate and lobbyist, I continue to work on getting these products we need “added to” pharmacy catalogues as “medically necessary” supplements. Once in catalogue, so far it looks like Medicaid is the progressive thinker and would pay 100% on these if prescribed. ( with new cutbacks due to the Bill passing the House on July 3,2025, coversage may change. So far, Medicare does not cover. So far, most - maybe all - other insurances are not covering. BTW - if you have Medicaid, pg. 67 in national binder shows where Medicaid pays 100% usually for GP-1 and GP-2 injectables. ( Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound) for non-diabetics. ( diabetic meds are covered by insurances). I am VERY brand-loyal to Bariatric Fusion ADEK multivitamin. I have compared all other brands offering ADEK, including the BF women and men’s version of ADEK. The highest doses are in the orange and white label multivitamin with iron and ADEK. Best wishes everyone- If you wear wigs, give your natural hair a break. Leave off when home. Otherwise, it can make your thinning problem worse.
