It’s essential to meet your daily protein goals after metabolic and bariatric surgery, and blending up tasty protein drinks is an easy way to keep things fresh. Think of your protein shakes as a treat, and you’ll easily meet your daily protein goals!*
This is easy to do when you have a protein shake that tastes like strawberry shortcake! Our six-ingredient shake is super easy to bring together. Start with a lactose-free liquid base, such as unsweetened vanilla almond milk or soy milk, and then add in a high-quality protein powder. In this recipe, two scoops of Bariatric Fusion Strawberry Banana High Protein Meal Replacement does the trick – providing 27 grams of protein!
Next, add frozen strawberries for an icy texture that won’t get watered down, and round out those fruity flavors with a dash of cinnamon, almonds, and chia seeds to create a high-fiber and high-protein smoothie. You can add a dab of almond or peanut butter for a little extra creaminess if you like.
Weight loss has never been easier!*
